Zac Knudson, ZMK
American, born 1987
Zac Knudson is a highly sought after glass artist from South Florida. He is known for pushing boundaries, and continuously redefines the art of glass sculpture through his use of light, layering, and skill in etching and carving.
In 2005, he founded The Glass Artist, a glass design and fabrication house, where he works closely with the best decorative glass and design firms in South Florida to bring their shared visions to life. For more than 10 years he has been creating unique works of art for private collectors, celebrities and publicly funded projects across the country.
The recurrent themes in his work are guided by a passion for nature and a commitment to the pursuit of elevated consciousness. These include learning from the past, awareness of the plight of bees, death, and higher thinking. His work reaches into a deeper dimension of thought while maintaining a grounded foot on the realities of the modern world.
